Concert Orchestra: Bornfield, Vaughan Williams and Shostakovich @ Bunting-Mereyhoff Interfaith Center

The Concert Orchestra series continues with a performance featuring:

  • Joshua Bornfield: World Premiere
  • Ralph Vaughan Williams: Oboe Concerto in A Minor with oboist Reina Arakawa, HSO Concerto Competition runner-up
  • Dmitri Shostakovich: Chamber Symphony (String Quartet #8, arr. Barshai)

Blair Skinner conducts. All Concert Orchestra performances feature small chamber music ensembles. Performances are held in the Bunting-Meyerhoff Interfaith Center and feature free admission.
