Caroline Ouwerkerk joined Johns Hopkins as the Assistant Director of the Center for Social Concern in February 2015. In this role, she supports the Student Ambassador Board, Alternative Breaks, pre-orientation, and student groups. Previously, she was the founding Program Director of the University of Chicago Urban Network, and the Program Manager for Social Justice Initiatives at the University of Chicago Community Service Center. Caroline received her A.B. in History from the University of Chicago, and an M.S. Ed. in Higher Education Administration from the University of Pennsylvania, In addition to her role at Johns Hopkins, Caroline also serves on the national board of the IMPACT Conference on Service, Advocacy and Social Justice.
