We’re excited to serve all Krieger and Whiting undergraduate and masters students, including those who choose to work, go to graduate or professional school, take a gap year, or serve in the military.
Where Our Students Intern and Work
This is just a sample. Don’t see your dream company? Tell us where you want to go, and we’ll add them to our recruiting list.
Your Career Tool
New Johns Hopkins students begin thinking about their career journey in their first year. After you register for classes, sign up for our online career platform, Handshake. This connects students to career resources, events, and directly to employers hiring on campus.
First Year Launch Support
Part of a first-year’s summer to-do list is to learn about their assigned Life Design Educator for their first year at JHU. These staff members help students start early to explore post-graduate opportunities, answer questions, and get ready to apply for internships and jobs when the time is right.
Each month, students will receive newsletters with first-year specific information, from exploring possible careers to planning your first summer. Students hear from their staff in August.
Get Specific in Career Academies
First-year students can also opt into a Career Academy right away, which will help you make connections and build skills relevant to the fields you’re interested in. Most students choose more than one, which reflects JHU’s interdisciplinary curriculum, and the vibrant diversity of our student body!
