Glen Koh

Health Education Specialist, Mental Health

Glen Koh (he/him/his) joined Health Promotion and Well-Being in August 2022 as a Health Education Specialist, focusing on areas of mental well-being and suicide prevention. He supports student well-being by designing programs and initiatives around preventive mental health while working closely with university mental health intervention services to address potential gaps. Some specific areas of interest are in developing resilience, vulnerability, gratitude, cultivating optimism, and support for first-generation college students.

Glen holds a Master of Public Health degree from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and a BA in Psychology from Yale-NUS College. Prior to Johns Hopkins University, Glen worked in undergraduate student wellness, as well as with a health tech start-up and a tabletop game design start-up. Outside of work, Glen loves to cook food from his home country of Singapore, bake, sing barbershop, and is trying to teach himself how to play the ukelele.
