At Johns Hopkins University Housing Operations, we aim to provide you with all the information for your housing needs. This section provides resources for you to learn more about JHU housing. 2022-2023 Contract Dates

For AMR I, AMR II, AMR III Building A, AMR III Building B, Bradford, Scott-Bates Commons (formerly Charles Commons), Homewood, McCoy, Rogers House, and Wolman

This housing contract is a license for room accommodations for the period (“The Term”) beginning Sunday, August 21, 2022 and continues throughout the Krieger School of Arts & Sciences and Whiting School of Engineering academic year, ending at 12:00pm (noon) Friday, May 12, 2023.

For Thanksgiving Break beginning 10:00am Saturday, November 19, 2022 to 12:00pm(noon) Sunday, November 27, 2022 and Spring Break beginning 10:00am Saturday, March 18, 2023 to 12:00pm (noon) Sunday, March 26, 2023, students staying on campus will need to indicate that on the break form that is sent to students prior to the break. Dining locations will be open in a limited capacity, and residential dining will be available to students on a meal plan. Monitored common area spaces will be closed.

For Winter Break beginning 10:00am on Friday, December 23, 2022 to 12:00pm (noon) Monday, January 2, 2023, students staying on campus will need to indicate that on the break form that is sent to students prior to the break. Residential dining will be available to students on a meal plan. Monitored common area spaces will be closed. Intersession classes begin Tuesday, January 3, 2023 and end on Friday, January 20, 2023.
The first semester billing period begins Tuesday, August 23, 2022 and ends Saturday, December 31, 2022. The second semester billing period begins Sunday, January 1, 2023 and ends on Thursday, May 11, 2023.

Dining Halls will be accessible on Saturday, August 20, 2022 and board plans will begin on Sunday, August 21, 2022 and continue through the Arts and Sciences and Engineering academic year ending on Friday, May 12, 2023 with breakfast.
