Rosemary Nicolosi, Psy.D.

Associate Director for Clinical Services, Senior Staff Psychologist

Pronouns: she/her/hers

I joined the Counseling Center in 2012 after receiving my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University, D.C. and my master’s in Counseling from Loyola University. Before my career as a psychologist, I earned an M.B.A. from New York University and worked in corporate banking. As a result of this unique experience, I love to help students contemplate their career and discuss what their future might look like. My passion and specialty are working with the LGBTQ+ student community. As an out and proud gay cis woman, I hope that I am able to relate in a special way to the issues that LGBTQ+ students face at JHU. Additionally, my clinical interests include identity development and concerns with stress and anxiety. In my clinical work, I primarily utilize an integrative treatment approach, centered with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness-based techniques. Away from work, I am an avid beach-goer, cook, and mother of a very cute 12-year-old son.
