Temporary Student Services Center
A temporary Student Services Center has been opened in Wyman 2 West (located in the Wyman Building). The center will be open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. until further notice. Staff from the following services will be located in this center:
- International Services
- Walk-in advising will be offered on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:30–11:30 a.m. and 1:30–3:30 p.m. As before, walk-in advising is designed for general F-1 and J-1 questions that can be addressed in 5–10 minutes. For other questions, please email OIS to see if an appointment is needed. Please note that during the period we are located in Wyman, travel signatures will be provided only during these walk-in advising times.

To reach the center, take the elevator to the second floor, then walk towards the door that is in the blue wall at the end of the hallway.
Connect with the Career Center via phone at 410-516-8056 (Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m.) or email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Additionally, Career Center staff will be available in person Monday through Friday from 11 a.m.–4 p.m. in Levering Cafe.
Hopkins Office for Undergraduate Research (HOUR)
For assistance, please email HOUR@jhu.edu or call 410-516-2324. Meetings with students will be scheduled at their convenience on campus. Please note that the office will be closed for appointments from July 15–26, 2019.
Financial Aid Services
The main Financial Aid phone line, 410-516-8028, is operational and will follow an 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. schedule Monday through Friday.
- Financial Aid Advisers will see walk-in visitors in Mason Hall from 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Check-in is in the Mason Lobby.
- Students may email Financial Aid at email@example.com or contact their assigned adviser directly.
- Documents may be faxed to Financial Aid at 786-513-2839.
The J-Card office is now located in Wyman 171. Hours are Monday–Friday from 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Passport photos are currently not available.
KSAS Academic Advising
The Office of Academic Advising is open between the hours of 12–3 p.m. this summer for walk-in advising meetings. These meetings will take place in the Wyman Park building, room 349. Advisors are also available to meet with students for individual advising appointments. Students may click here to make an appointment with their assigned advisor or email their advisor directly. For general questions or other meeting arrangements, students can either email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 410-516-8216 for assistance.
Petty Cash will be open in the Wyman Building basement in the Alexa Lab, room 42B, Monday through Wednesday from 10 a.m.–2 p.m. Petty Cash will also be open on Thursday from 10 a.m.–2 p.m. for deposits only.
Pre-Professional Advising can be reached during normal business hours (Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m.– 4:30 p.m.) via telephone by calling 410-516-4140 or by writing to email@example.com. Students may also feel free to contact pre-professional advisors directly via email. Due to the ongoing situation in Garland, all pre-professional advising meetings will be conducted virtually by telephone or Skype/Zoom, and by appointment only.
Student Disability Services
Student Disability Services will be located in the temporary space on the lower level of the Alumni Memorial Residences 2 (AMR 2) during most of the summer. The entrance to the SDS space is next to the Fresh Food Cafe, directly behind the Blue Jay statue. SDS reception is in room 0004, the last office on the right. Summer hours are 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m.
Student IT/Laptop Support
Students can visit the Krieger 160 Computer Lab for IT/Laptop Support, which will be available Monday–Friday from 9 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Questions or issues related to the Technology Store should be directed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Technology Store is still accepting and processing departmental orders as usual via ServiceNow.
Personal purchase orders (credit card only) can be placed online at store.jhutechstore.com but orders may not be available for immediate pick-up. We will contact all web order customers to provide a pick-up date and location after the order has been confirmed.
Students can obtain laptop support by visiting the Krieger 160 Computer Lab Monday through Friday from 9 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
