The Life Design Lab offers one campus-wide career fair every fall, and multiple targeted career fairs throughout the year to support specific industries and career academies. Students connect with employers specifically looking for STEM- and science-focused students for internships and careers in tech and entrepreneurship roles. The fair is open to all JHU students pursuing a STEM degree. Students at the bachelors, master, and PhD levels are encouraged to join us. Please bring copies of your resume. Drop-ins welcome.

Smart Casual Dress Required: No shorts, t-shirts, or ripped clothing.

Fall Career Fair

Thursday, Sept. 26, 2019
11 a.m. to 3 p.m.*, Ralph S. O’Connor Recreation Center

This is our flagship fair, and the only full-campus career fair at Homewood. Almost 150 employers will recruit undergraduates, graduate and PhD students for internships, fellowships and jobs. Companies include Accenture, American Enterprise Institute, Assoc. of Public Health Laboratories, Bank of NY Mellon, Carney Sandoe & Assoc., FDA, Trane, Intuitive Surgical, Kennedy Krieger, NIH, New England Center for Children and more. Please note: professional dress is required to attend the fair. No jeans, t-shirts, sneakers or flip-flops.

As a student or alumni of an MCC (Maryland Career Consortium) member college or university, you are invited to take advantage of the all of their events for your job or internship search. Visit the host career center’s website for event details and remember to connect with your institution’s career center for assistance with navigating the job/internship search process. Local employers from the Life Design Lab’s InBaltimore Internship program are hiring students for paid, 10-week internships for freshmen, sophomores, and juniors.

All of the exhibitors are organizations making a difference; engage with employers that match your personal interest in serving or assisting others. This fair is open to ALL majors and years and is a great way to begin connecting with employers in a smaller more manageable career fair setting.
