Alumni Mock Interview Program
We are looking for alumni to assist in a mock medical school interview program organized by our office. You do not need to have any experience with medical school or the medical field to participate.
A crucial part of the medical school application process is the in-person interview. The medical school interview allows applicants to discuss their strengths, weaknesses, their interest in that school and, most importantly, gives them the opportunity to make a lasting impression on the admissions committee.
With more than 450 students and alumni applying to medical school each year, and a committee letter of evaluation being written by the Pre-Professional Office for each applicant, it is difficult for Pre-Professional staff to provide important services to applicants. With your help, the Pre-Professional Office will be able to offer mock interviews to those applicants who have received at least one interview invitation. These applicants may be current undergraduates or alumni of our undergraduate programs. Interviews will be conducted from September 2019 through March 2020 in person or virtually via Skype, Zoom or similar platform at your convenience.
If you are available to participate, complete this brief survey about your interest and availability. A member of the Pre-Prof Office will then contact you with further instructions.
Thank you for your time and for your continued commitment to Johns Hopkins. Should you have any questions about the mock interview program, please contact Shannon Jensen (email@example.com), Assistant Director in the Office of Pre-Professional Programs & Advising.
