Deidre Campbell, MPH

Assistant Director

Mrs. Campbell joined the Blue Jay family in January 2020 and serves as the Assistant Director of the Office of Pre-Professional Advising where she advises pre-health students and alumni. She received her Masters in Public Health Policy and Management and Bachelors of Science in Health Sector Management from Florida International University in Miami, FL. Mrs. Campbell has been working in higher education for more than 10 years, and served as the Administrative Director of the Resident Scholarly Activity Program and Assistant Director of Pre-Health Advising and Mentoring at the University of Miami in Florida. She is passionate about increasing the representation of minorities and first generation students in medicine. Mrs. Campbell served on the advisory board of 100 Strong, a student-led organization developed to increase the number of minority and first generation students pursuing health careers.

Favorite spot on campus: The Beach (It’s not an actual beach but closest to Miami I can find on campus.) Ha!

Favorite food: Mangoes and Jackfruit

Fun Fact: I am on a quest to visit all 50 states in the next 5 years.
