Ellen Snydman, MS

Ms. Snydman is the Director of the Office of Pre-Professional Programs and Advising and works with pre-health students, alumni, and applicants. With a career in higher education, working in both academic affairs and student affairs, Ms. Snydman has a plethora of experience advising students as they pursue their professional goals. In addition, as an active member of the health professions community, she has presented at conferences for the National Association of Advisors for the Health Professions (NAAHP) and the Northeast Association of Advisors for the Health Professions (NEAAHP). She is also a current member of the Northeast Association of Advisors and Northeast Group on Student Affairs Committee (NEAAHP-NEGSA), and previously served on the Chesapeake Local Area Network (LAN) committee. In her spare time, Ms. Snydman volunteers for the Reisterstown Community Crisis Center and enjoys the outdoors—hiking, biking, watching the Orioles at Camden Yards, or simply exploring a new city. Ms. Snydman is especially proud to share that her father, sister, and niece are all alumni of Hopkins, so Blue Jay connections run strong in her family.
