The Center for Social Concern partners with many impactful nonprofit, government, and community based agencies across Baltimore, as a vital part of our mission and programming. In partnership, we seek to connect the JHU Homewood campus to the larger Baltimore community in just and equitable ways while striving to support each organization’s mission through meaningful connections to passionate students, student organizations, and programs.
Our partners have diverse missions, focusing on the education, health and safety, environmental sustainability, and vitality of our community. During the 2018-2019 academic year, we are proud to recognize that the Center has over 100 community partners in service!
As part of our commitment to enhancing connections with Baltimore community agencies, the Center for Social Concern has recently invested in a full-time position that is dedicated to strengthening our community partnerships. They will be ensuring that all partners have accessibility to the full scope of programming from our office and our full support as they engage with our student organizations and programs.
