Gia Grier McGinnis
Gia joined the CSC staff in 2007. She has past experience in community organizing, event planning, community-based research and program coordination. She received a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies from Washington College in 2002, where she developed and coordinated campus-wide service programming for 3 years. She received a master’s degree in environmental policy from the University of Michigan in 2005, with a research focus on environmental justice and health and diversity in the environmental field. She is currently a DrPH candidate at Morgan State University’s School of Community Health and Policy and also holds a certificate in risk sciences and public policy from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
