The Student Health and Wellness Center provides a variety of primary care services for the evaluation and treatment of an illness or injury, preventive health care and health education to the Johns Hopkins University student population.
The mission of the SHWC is to support the education and development of students by promoting their optimal health and well-being.
The SHWC is accredited through the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care. Our organization participates in ongoing self-evaluation in order to improve our services to the university population with whom we serve. Additionally, every three years we receive a thorough on-site survey by AAAHC surveyors.

The SHWC is open throughout the year with adjusted schedules during summer, intercession and spring break. Please be advised that when the university is closed due to inclement weather and/or holidays, the SHWC is also closed.
