Nikky Hindle, RD


Nikky Hindle (she/her/hers) joined Johns Hopkins University in January of 2022, serving as the dietitian for the university’s Primary Care, Health Promotions, and Athletics departments. She values taking a holistic and individualized approach to nutrition care and provides education and counseling in several areas, including sports nutrition for collegiate athletes and performing artists; medical nutrition therapy for diabetes management, heart health, and eating disorders; and nutrition therapy to support mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and OCD. Prior to her current role at Johns Hopkins, Nikky worked as a dietitian for several drug and alcohol rehabilitation facilities and built a private sports nutrition practice in Northern Virginia.

A native of State College, Pennsylvania, Nikky earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition with a minor in Kinesiology from the Pennsylvania State University. She subsequently completed her dietetic internship through Cedar Crest College, where her work experience included rotations at Penn State Sports Nutrition, UPMC Altoona, and Penn State Cooperative Extension. Nikky is both a registered dietitian and a certified personal trainer.

In her free time, Nikky enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and being active, either outdoors or at the gym.
