Natural Disaster Resources
In response to the hardships and crisis our family and friends have experienced around the world due to natural disasters, the Office of the Dean of Student Life would like to remind our students of resources available on campus:
Emotional Support
Should you be struggling emotionally or wish to speak with someone about your concerns, please reach out to the Counseling Center at 410-516-8278 or visit the Counseling Center website.
Academic Support
If you have spoken to your professors and require additional academic support or services, please contact the Office of the Dean of Student Life at 410-516-7857 and ask to speak to a case manager. Case managers are available Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Financial Hardship
If financial circumstances are affecting your ability to attend Johns Hopkins, the Office of Student Financial Support would like to have the opportunity to reconsider your eligibility for financial aid. Our goal is to offer you the best possible financial aid package based on your family’s current financial situation within the parameters of existing policies, federal regulations and the availability of funds.
An increase in aid is most often the result of financial circumstances that have changed or that we did not know about at the time of your original application. Examples include loss of income, unexpected medical expenses not covered by insurance, and other unusual life events that affect your family’s ability to pay for college.
Contact your Financial Aid Adviser for further assistance. Full a for list of advisers, visit the Office of Student Financial Support website or call our office at 410-516-8028 for assistance.
If necessary, you may begin the Financial Aid Appeals Process by following PDF Document: these instructions.
