Through the UHS Mental Health program, we offer a variety of high quality outpatient mental health services to Hopkins students, residents, fellows, and trainees. We provide psychiatric assessment and treatment, including medication evaluation and medication management, and individual therapy.

The UHS Mental Health team consists of five psychiatrists, a licensed psychologist, five licensed social workers, and support staff. Our Mental Health Director is Dr. Elizabeth Kastelic.

There is no out-of-pocket expense for visits to the UHS Mental Health program, and you will be seen as many times as is medically necessary to be treated for your condition. All visits are kept in the strictest confidence.

Location

We are located at 933 N. Wolfe Street, adjacent to the 929 Apartments. From the intersection of Monument St. and Wolfe St., walk north on Wolfe St. approximately 2.5 blocks (away from JHH hospital). Our building is on the right side, near the corner of Ashland St. and Wolfe St.

Costs

There is no charge for clinic visits if you are 1) a full-time, East Baltimore-based student or post-doctoral fellow in the Schools of Medicine, Public Health, or Nursing, or 2) House Staff or Clinical Fellow at Johns Hopkins Hospital or Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. However, additional services such as labs and medications will be billed to your health insurance.
