The Office of Undergraduate Student Analytics routinely administers large-scale surveys to Arts and Sciences and Engineering undergraduates.

Undergraduate Student Surveys

Survey of New Students

This COFHE survey asks incoming Arts and Sciences and Engineering first-year students about expectations for college, secondary school experiences, degree goals and career plans, college finances, attitudes, values and life goals.

Enrolled Student Survey

The COFHE Enrolled Student Survey (ESS) is primarily focused on measuring student engagement, including day-to-day student activities, modes of student-student and student-faculty interactions, student use of institutional resources, and related environmental factors. The survey also includes a set of learning self-evaluations and the most central student satisfaction measures from the Senior Survey. Faculty-student relationships, advising, and academic help are measured. The survey is administered to all arts and sciences and engineering undergraduates who are enrolled in the spring term of odd years.

Senior Survey

The COFHE Senior Survey provides graduating arts and sciences and engineering juniors and seniors with an opportunity to evaluate their undergraduate institution in detail, evaluate their own progress, and report on their plans for the future.
