Orientation & First-Year Experience
Welcome New Students!
Welcome new students and families! We are excited to welcome you to the Blue Jay community!
For more information on what to expect next, refer to our New Student Orientation page.
Orientation and First-Year Experience exists to facilitate a successful transition to college for first-year students, transfer students, and families. Through meaningful programs, events, and initiatives, OFYE serves as your guide in navigating through Johns Hopkins’s plethora of campus resources, from academics to campus engagement opportunities. First-Year Mentors better known as FYMs are there for new students all year-round to provide peer-to-peer support, community, and smooth integration into campus life.
