Summer Send-Offs
Hosted by Student Affairs, Johns Hopkins Alumni Association, and our alumni hosts, Summer Send-Offs are an exciting opportunity for our newest Blue Jays to celebrate their acceptance and commitment to Hopkins in community!
These parties are intended to bring together incoming students and families from the same geographical area to meet and create early connections. In addition to building community, Summer Send-Offs are casual gatherings designed to allow new students and families to engage with current students, staff, and alumni. We want you to ask questions and learn more about what to expect in August and hopefully lessen any anxieties surrounding the transition to college.
Entering college and becoming a Blue Jay is an exciting milestone in your life! We are excited to welcome you to “The Nest” and hope to see you soon at a Summer Send-Off near you this July!
