Concertmaster
Salvatore Amadeo is an active performer with a Bachelor’s in Violin Performance from Catholic University, and Master of Violin Performance from University of Maryland, College Park. He has a rich musical pedigree, having studied under Luis Haza (National Symphony Orchestra), Elisabeth Adkins (National Symphony Orchestra), Daniel Heifetz, Pamela Frank and Ilya Kaler. Salvatore has performed as a recitalist, soloist, chamber artist, and with orchestras throughout the United States and tours through Europe. Along with his recent post as Concertmaster of the Hopkins Symphony, he has served as Concertmaster for the Apollo Orchestra, the Opera Camerata of Washington DC, among several Guest Concertmaster appointments, and engagements with Orchestras from New York, to the Czech Republic. He is an active composer, with tutelage under Dr. Steven Strunk, and runs an active freelance composition/arrangement publication, of which works have been performed along the East Coast, with chamber arrangements debuted in Las Vegas.
