Misti joined the CSC in May 2018. Moving to Baltimore from Pittsburgh, Misti has experience in nonprofit management, community development, and higher education. She received her undergraduate degree from Carlow University, and her MS in Community Leadership from Duquesne University. Misti is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Education from the University of Pittsburgh in Social and Comparative Analysis of Education, focusing her research on the preparation for students to ethically participate in community service through Alternative Break programs.
Prior to joining Johns Hopkins, Misti served as the founding Director of the Office of PittServes at the University of Pittsburgh and has experience in the nonprofit sector as the Director of Operations & Outreach at the Coro Center for Civic Leadership and as Site Director of Public Allies Pittsburgh (an AmeriCorps program). Misti is excited to join the Baltimore and Hopkins communities and call Charm City her home.
