Administrative Coordinator

Edythe Othello serves as the Administrative Coordinator for the staff of Religious & Spiritual Life and Gender & Sexuality Resources. In this role, she is responsible for budget support, procurement, fiscal integrity, managing the Interfaith Center’s building schedule and any maintenance issues that may arise. Edythe serves as a point of contact and coordination for student and campus organizations and departments who use the Interfaith Center for worship, programs, concerts and other events ensuring they are successful. The trifecta for Edythe is that 1. She is afforded the opportunity to be available for a students and staff as needed. Whether to talk, listen, or even piecing together a community puzzle – just hanging out. 2. Meeting people who are NEW to the JHU community and connecting with them. 3. Consistently making ALL aware they are welcome to come to an easy and tranquil space where they can meet with the Chaplain or just give themselves a break from academia, a place where they can allow themselves time to reflect, destress, meditate, or simply to take a moment to breathe.
