Jacqueline Irion

Jacqueline Irion is Assistant Director for School of Education and Homewood.
Jacqueline is a Washington, D.C. native and spent most of her life here in Maryland. She brings over fifteen years of experience working with students with disabilities, including serving as a special education teacher and an assistant director of disability services at the University of New Haven in Connecticut.
She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, a Master of Teaching in special education from the University of Phoenix, and a second Master’s of Jurisprudence in compliance in higher education from Widener University, Delaware Law School.
Her professional interests include universal design for learning and the inclusion of disability in diversity efforts.
Outside of work, Jacqueline enjoys hiking, calligraphy, and cooking.
