Kathleen Bruns

Assistant Director, SDS Homewood

Kathleen Bruns joined the SDS Homewood staff in Shaffer Hall on 10/30/23 as the new Assistant Director. Kathleen comes to us after nearly nine years working at Loyola University Maryland in their disability services office. Her experience covers various roles including test center coordinator, grad assistant supervisor, DAPi Honor Society moderator, and student case manager. She also has experience with ADHD coaching. Kathleen is eager to connect with campus partners, engage with students, and partake in the various events held on campus. She is well positioned to support the SDS Homewood Hub and its students.

Kathleen has a Master of Arts in Curriculum & Instruction from Loyola University Maryland and a Bachelor’s Degree in General Studies from Towson State University.
