For Women’s History Month, join us in the Annual Women’s Evening of Appreciation. The Men Of Color Hopkins Alliance and the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Sigma Sigma Chapter will honor and award leading women in the Hopkins community. The special evening will feature Lady Brion, an international spoken word artist, poetry coach, activist, organizer, and educator. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Lady Brion has always embraced her creative side through writing and performance. She has taught creative writing courses at many elementary and middle schools and she facilitates poetry workshops in several group homes and prisons in Maryland.
