In this workshop Maimouna Yousef, explores how each person can use their own creative voice to facilitate social change. She starts the workshop by examining catchy top 40 songwriting formulas and how their hypnotic nature can effectively communicate themes surrounding social justice and political viewpoints.  We explore how to take an abstract ideal or concept and make it tangible, personal and palatable for general consumption. We explore the power of inspiration, how to find it, harness it, and move humanity forward. The principles learned in this class are taught from a musical perspective but can also be applied to fashion, visual art, public speaking, etc.
