Heritage365 initiative observes the cultural heritage and history beyond the month and recognizes such heritage month from a year-long format. The Office Diversity and Inclusion will continue to celebrate APIDA Heritage through, Heritage 365 Speaker Series. Come watch APIDA Heritage celebration speaker Angelin Chang who is also a JHU alumna. Internationally acclaimed pianist, Angelin Chang, is the first American female and the first pianist of Asian heritage to be awarded the GRAMMY® for Best Instrumental Soloist with orchestra. She is recognized for her sense of poetry and technical brilliance. Angelin Chang is a Grammy award-winning classical pianist and professor of music at Cleveland State University. She heads the university’s keyboard studies program and coordinates the university’s chamber music program and teaches music and law. Prior to joining Cleveland State, she was faculty at Rutgers University. She will share her experience at JJU as well as discuss her identity as it pertains to APIDA Heritage.
