The Identity Series & Cuisine Night is a monthly event series that features provosts/deans/directors/staff/student leaders to speak about their “Identities” with students over dinner. These identities can include race/ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religious affiliations, ability, nationality and more. The goal of this event is to allow the speaker to address their own identities, tell their story, and engage in conversations about intersectionality with the Hopkins student community, all while enjoying a meal related to their identity in a casual, intimate setting. Nairuti Shastry, the Community Partnership Specialist at the Center for Social Concern will be our staff presenter. Sanjana Boyapalli, Director of Internal Communication of Multicultural Leadership Council will be our student guest. We will also have student Alisha Chen talking about her identity and share more about her Chinese background.
