A student-to-student discussion about Asian and Asian American identity and experience at Hopkins and in today’s America.

As Asians and Asian Americans, students find ourselves with a surprising amount of common experiences through culture and background. Some of these experiences, from media representation to affirmative action to overwhelming stereotypes, affect their lives every day. Yet they often have nowhere to share and discuss them. Hear, share, and think with others about the variety of Asian and Asian American experiences and what they mean in a changing nation.

Participants do not have to identify as Asian or Asian American to attend. All Johns Hopkins community members are invited to attend.

Dinner will be provided. Funding provided by the Office of Multicultural Affairs.
