Bio (Hobbies, personal interests, professional interests, organizations, etc.):
I’m a conductor from Brazil, studying in the doctoral program at the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University, under mentorship of Marin Alsop. I believe every human being is meant to be connected, and cultural differences must be celebrated. As a musician, I love concerts, opera, theater, musicals and social gathers in general. I serve as Artistic Advisor for the Brazilian Foundation for the Arts, facilitating access to music education for communities that are geographically far from the big cities.
