For over 20 years, the primary purposes of Multicultural Affairs has been to support the holistic development of multicultural students through individual and/or program support; to educate the broader Johns Hopkins University community regarding issues of diversity via campuswide celebrations and programs; support the transition of historically underrepresented first-year students participating in a summer bridge and/or mentoring programs; and to promote leadership of multicultural student leaders via leadership training and advising multicultural student organizations.
