Method 1: Help during your Move-In and Orientation period

During your Move-In and Orientation period, the on-site ResNet IT Event will be available in the AMR 2 Blue Jay Lounge during the dates and times specified below to help if you have trouble connecting to our network or have any other IT issues/questions.

2025 ResNet IT Event Dates & Times

Monday, August 18 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Wednesday, August 20 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Friday, August 22 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Method 2: Visit the Technology Center

In addition to the on-site ResNet IT Event, another option is to visit the Technology Center (IT & ID Service Hub) located on the 2nd Floor of the Campus Bookstore at 33rd St. & St. Paul. The Technology Center is not only open during the Move-In and Orientation period, but it is also open throughout the year.

Their normal days and hours of operation are:

Monday–Friday: 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Saturday–Sunday: Closed

Method 3: Contact the Johns Hopkins IT Help Desk

The Johns Hopkins Help Desk is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year for assistance. They can be reached by phone or online.

Online through the myJH Portal, click the ‘Helpdesk’ drop-down and select the appropriate icon to report a problem/submit a self-service ticket.
