Mercy Perez is a first-generation professional hailing from a Honduran family, born and raised in Howard County. With a solid background in the non-profit sector spanning up to three years, Mercy pursued her Bachelor’s degree at Goucher College followed by a Master’s in Business from Loyola University of Maryland.
Between 2021 and 2024, Mercy gained valuable experience through internships and employment at Adventist HealthCare, where she focused on organizational development, operational excellence, and events management.
Passionate about advocating for first-gen students, Mercy actively supports her community at her local church, particularly in fostering academic advancement within the youth group.
During her leisure time, she immerses herself in the rich history, culture, and visual art galleries of Baltimore City or Washington D.C. Museums are her go-to spots for inspiration and exploration. Beyond her professional and community endeavors, Mercy cherishes quality time spent with her family, friends, and her beloved puppy, Snoopy. Their company brings her immense happiness and contentment.
