Ossie David brings more than seven years of experience supporting and advising students in his role as an Academic Advisor/Success Coach in the Whiting School of Engineering.
As a first-generation college graduate, Ossie earned an associate’s from Passaic County Community College and a bachelor’s and master’s from William Paterson University in Sociology. He served as the Admissions Coordinator for the Honors and Silas Craft programs at Howard Community College, where he worked with high-achieving, first-generation, and limited-income students. During his time at Caldwell University, he participated in NJACAC’s College Key and Camp College as a mentor, where he presented underrepresented student populations with information about the college enrollment process.
Most recently, Ossie was an Admissions and Academic Advisor at Anne Arundel Community College, where he provided admissions counseling and advising to dually enrolled and incoming first-year students.
