Meet alumni who mastered media communications at the JHU Digital Media Center and are now leveraging these skills for workplace success. The panel discussion will feature Eric Chung (2009), David Golan (2007), Matt Sterling (2007), Ramon Taylor (2010), and Brigitte Warner (2009). The speakers will discuss how their DMC learning experiences have led to exciting careers with notable organizations including Nickelodeon, Voice of America, MakerBot, Muse, and Allovue. Senior Writing Seminars major Kat Lewis will moderate. Following the panel, snacks and refreshments will be provided at the DMC 15 Year Anniversary Open House upstairs.
Creating Careers is co-sponsored by the JHU Life Design Lab (formerly Career Center) and the DMC. The DMC is a multimedia lab and resource center for students exploring creative uses of emerging media and technology to communicate their ideas. The JHU Life Design Lab’s vision is to have all Johns Hopkins students integrate their career preparation into their academic experience with the same pursuit of excellence – distinguishing themselves as the talent of choice.
