NFP to Co-Present Undergraduate Resources for Pursuits in Sustainabilility

On March 26th from 6-7pm, the National Fellowships Program will partner with two other Johns Hopkins entities, the Office of Sustainaibility and E²SHI (Environment, Energy, Sustainability & Health Institute), to co-present on available resources for undergraduate students interested in pursuing projects in sustainability or environmentalism during and after their time at Johns Hopkins.This event, sponsored by E²SHI, will take place in Gilman Hall Room 132.

Presenters will include Dr. Kelly Barry and Dr. Jeannette Miller of the National Fellowships Program. Drs. Barry and Miller will speak about external fellowships to support students interested in studying environment areas, including the Fulbright Academic Grant, Udall, and Truman Scholarships. Ashley Pennington of the Office of Sustainability will discuss how students can become powerful agents for change on campus and beyond, detailing ways to get involved at Hopkins and in the surrounding community. Katie Igrec Lima, of E²SHI, will present on research and education resources, discussing how students can find environment-related courses, as well as internship, research, or job opportunities.
