Dave Rybczynski

Jazz Band Conductor

Dave Rybczynski directs the Jazz Band and Jazz Ensemble, co-curricular groups that rehearse weekly and present a concert each fall and spring semester.

A Baltimore native, Mr. Rybczynski earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Jazz Saxophone and a Master’s Degree in Music Education at Towson University, with additional saxophone studies at Berklee College of Music. He has toured nationally and internationally with swing music orchestras and now freelances throughout the region playing jazz, musical theatre, orchestra pops, and classic rock tributes.

In addition to JHU, Mr. Rybczynski teaches at CCBC Essex, and was recently a church music director. He lives in Baltimore with his wife and has two children in college. Favorite activities include cooking, exercise, and singing with community choruses.
