Jade McCalla
Sous Chef, Nolan's on 33rd
Jade has been a Hopkins Dining team member since Summer 2023 and serves as the campus Sous Chef at Nolan’s on 33rd. She is responsible for creating and implementing new recipes, purchasing food items, and overseeing all culinary aspects within the dining hall. Jade has a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore as well as being a certified Hospitality Graduate and a member of the American Culinary Federation.
Jade’s favorite part of our program is having the ability to create new cultural inspired recipes for our students to experience while on campus. Her favorite food right now is the Grilled Bass with Dill Chimichurri. When Jade is not on campus, she enjoys spending time with her family as a new mom and wife. She also is an avid concert goer, lover of music, rollercoaster enthusiast, spicy foods adventurer, and spontaneous dancer.
