Second-Year Meal Plans
Second-year students have already enrolled in a meal plan for the 24-25 academic year during their Housing Room Selection Process. If you want to change meal plans or were placed on a default plan, we offer two meal plan change periods during the academic year: Monday, August 19 – Friday, August 30 (Fall 2024). Visit The Birdhouse and visit the “Hopkins Dining Meal Plan” page to find the change form. There will be no other opportunities this semester to change your meal plan, after August 30 the next change period will be Monday, January 13 – Friday, January 24 (Spring 2025). For any questions, email [email protected].
Second-year Blue Jays have the choice of our several different plans based on their housing accommodations. These plans were created to offer greater flexibility for second-year students who have completed one year at Hopkins and are experienced in juggling a class and extracurricular workload. Second-year plans also provide the ability for Blue Jays to begin cooking independently in their rooms with plans that offer additional dining dollars and less or no meals.
Blue Jays can use their meal swipes at the Hopkins Café, Nolan’s on 33rd located in Scott-Bates Commons, Meals-in-a-Minute at the Charles Street Market or for meal exchange during dinner at Levering Kitchens. Dining Dollars can be used at any of our on-campus locations, including some of our on-campus partners.
