Virginia Lane

Catering Director

Virginia has worked on the Hopkins Dining team since June 2022 and oversees 1876 Distinction, our catering department. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality, Restaurant & Tourism Management and Agricultural Leadership, Education & Communication from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Virginia’s favorite part about the Hopkins Dining program is having the opportunity to positively impact our community, leaders and future leaders. Her favorite food on campus is nachos.

When Virginia is not on campus, she enjoys hanging out with her two rescue Huskys and rescue cat. She also enjoys gardening, hiking, crafting and traveling. You can normally find Virginia driving across campus in our catering cart running to and from events.
