Catering Sou Chef

Francisco started with Hopkins Dining in 2022 as a Catering Team Lead for 1876 Distinction, Johns Hopkins University’s exclusive catering service. He was promoted May 2025 to Catering Sou Chef, where he manages the kitchen staff, gives them directions in everyday plans as well as helping with culinary expertise with our Catering Chef.

Francisco’s favorite part of the Hopkins Dining program is the growth opportunity within the program and to be able to decorate all types of dishes. His favorite food is lomo saltado, grilled chicken and rice. And when Francisco is not busy in the kitchen for 1876 Distinction, he likes to play soccer, watch anime, go for walks, visit new places and spend time with his family.
