Campus Executive Chef
Tim has been a member of the Hopkins Dining team since August 2023 and leads the on-campus culinary team while working closely with all facets of the Hopkins Dining program. His goal is to foster a collaborative spirit between groups, teams, and operations to positively affect our students, community, and Johns Hopkins. He feels these collaborations are what make a self-operated dining program beneficial to the university community.
Tim brings 35 years of food and beverage experience with the last 17 years being in self-operated university dining programs. Including being the Executive Chef of two other large universities. He received a degree in Culinary Arts from The Cooking and Hospitality Institute of Chicago. While in Chicago, Tim worked at several restaurants and restaurant groups as well as owning his own restaurant for five years.
His time away from campus is spent with his adult daughter, golfing, cooking and finding new fun foods or places.
