Brandon Mayer, M.A.

Coordinator of LEED, Fraternity and Sorority Life

Brandon Mayer joined the Hopkins community in March 2023 as the Coordinator for Fraternity and Sorority Life in the LEED office. In his role, Brandon oversees the Fraternity and Sorority community and their day-to-day operations, advising chapter leaders and councils. He is passionate about the fraternal experience and ensuring students have an unforgettable undergraduate experience, using their leadership experiences from fraternity and sorority life to propel them through their careers while also understanding what it means to be a part of the brotherhood/sisterhood of a lifetime.

Before joining Hopkins, Brandon has a background working with Housing and Residence Life in collaboration with Fraternity and Sorority communities, with experiences at large research institutions in Pennsylvania and Virginia. Brandon has a strong understanding of student development, leadership strategies, and organizational management. He is a brother of the Delta Chi Fraternity and has engaged with Fraternities and Sororities outside of the institutional setting in a variety of ways, from small group facilitations to conference presentations.

Originally from Fort Myers, Florida, Brandon received his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Penn State University and a Master of Arts degree in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Education and Human Development from George Mason University, with research interest in Fraternity and Sorority Life.
