Charles Norman III, Ed.D

Interim Sr. Director, Leadership Engagement & Experiential Development

Dr. Norman joined the Hopkins community in August of 2021 as the Assistant Director of LEED. In his role, and subsequently promoted in February 2023 to the Associate Director role in the LEED office, Charles will oversee the Leadership and Development unit and advises Student Government Association and ODK. He is passionate about programming and will aim to deliver experience-enhancing engagement opportunities.

Before joining Hopkins, Charles was the Coordinator of Student Programs at The Pennsylvania State ­– Abington. While at PSU Abington, Charles advised the campus programming board, facilitated the New Student Organization creation and registration process, oversaw the student organization event process, and coordinated the campus voter registration and information initiatives. Charles received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Pittsburgh – Bradford, his Master of Science degree from the California University of Pennsylvania, and his Doctor of Education focus on Leadership for Organizations at the University of Dayton.
