Request a Hopkins Groups Profile

To request a Hopkins Groups Profile, please read the instructions below.

Student profiles are automatically created, once a student activates their JHED. Once a student activates their JHED, it takes 24 – 48 hours for their Hopkins Groups account to be automatically created. If you are unsure if your JHED is active, follow these steps under “Activating your JHED Email”. (In general: If you have access to send and receive emails through your JHU account, your JHED has been activated; please wait 24-28 hours until your Hopkins Groups profile is created.)

There are some exceptions to this rule:

• Exchange Students
• Visiting Scholar
• Non-degree/Undecided Students
• Students enrolled in one of the following programs

If the exceptions above do not apply must wait until the system creates your Hopkins Groups Profile.

Faculty and staff profiles must be created manually. Please submit a Hopkins Groups Profile Request

**You must have an active JHED to request a Hopkins Groups Profile Request via this form.**

Create a guest account if you are a:

• Alumni
• Community Partner
• Guest
• Parent/Family
• Virtual Attendee

**Guest accounts will not have full access to the Hopkins Groups platform**
