Campus Compact – Newman Civic Fellowship
Overview
Throughout the fellowship year, Campus Compact offers Newman Civic Fellows a range of opportunities for growth, skill development, and networking, both virtually and in person. These experiences are designed to help students collaborate across disciplines and use their skills to create positive change in their communities.
Fellowship Opportunities Include:
- Regular Virtual Events focused on skill development and professional learning
- Annual In-Person Convening of Fellows, supported by The Allstate Foundation
- One-on-One Leadership Development with a local mentor of the Fellow’s choice
- Connection to a Nationwide Network of engaged student leaders, both during and after the fellowship year
- Public National Recognition
- Special Scholarship and Career Opportunities
- Opportunities to Present or Publish Work through Campus Compact

2024 Cohort
- October 31, 2023 – Nomination Form Opens
- March 1, 2024 – Last Day to Nominate Students
- May/August 2024 – 2024-2025 Cohort Publicly Announced
- September 2024 – Fellowship Orientation Begins
- November 14-16, 2024 – Annual Convening of Newman Civic Fellows
- May 2025 – Fellowship Ends
2025 Cohort
- January 27, 2025 – Nomination Form Opens
- April 25, 2025 – Last Day to Nominate Students
- August 2025 – Newman Cohort Publicly Announced
- September 2025 – Fellowship Orientation Begins
- October 16-19, 2025 – Annual Convening of Newman Civic Fellows
- May 2026 – Fellowship Ends
