Caroline Ouwerkerk joined Johns Hopkins in February 2015. She is the Assistant Director for Student Leadership and Development at the CSC and supports student groups, pre-orientation, alternative breaks, and the Civic Engagement Recognition and Allocations Commission, as well as leadership development in the context of service. Previously, she was the founding Program Director of the University of Chicago Urban Network, and the Program Manager for Social Justice Initiatives at the University of Chicago Community Service Center. Caroline received her A.B. in History from the University of Chicago, and an M.S. Ed. in Higher Education Administration from the University of Pennsylvania, In addition to her role at Johns Hopkins, Caroline also serves on the national board of the IMPACT Conference on Service, Advocacy and Social Justice.
