Willow Goode

Civic Life Specialist

Willow Goode (she/her/hers) is a Baltimore area native who graduated from the University of Baltimore in 2020 with a degree in government and public policy and a minor in philosophy. Previously, Willow worked at the League of Women Voters of Maryland, where she continued the passion for civic engagement she first developed in college as an Andrew Goodman Foundation Ambassador. In addition to her work promoting civic engagement and voting, Willow also served as a Union Scholar (a partnership with Harvard and the American Federation for State, County, and Municipal Employees). In this position, she worked alongside other organizers to help behavioral health workers seek better working conditions, wages, and benefits.

As a volunteer, Willow has served with several nonprofits throughout Baltimore helping returning citizens, advocating for reproductive justice, and assisting students in public school settings. In her free time, Willow loves to travel, explore local farmers’ markets, and search for the best Baltimore pizza.
