During Fall 2017 first year move in the JHU Digital Media Center invited incoming students and their families to share their stories, thoughts, and feelings about the transition to Hopkins. Everyone’s audio recordings were mixed together to create a soundscape serving as a shared reflection on the transition to college at Johns Hopkins University. This audio piece will be shared with students and families during the Fall 2017 JHU Family Weekend as an installation in Levering Hall and by clicking the play button below.
StoryNest 2017 was produced by Joan Freedman, recorded by Tom Boran, Elena DeBold, and Deborah Buffalin. Original music and editing by Tom Boram.Tags: digital media center, dmc, installation, orientation, projects, sound, storynest
